On March 30, 1995 – exactly 30 years ago – Alba Berlin of Coach Svetislav Pešić, Teo Alibegović and Saša Obradović defeated Olimpia Milano of Coach Tanjević, Dejan Bodiroga and Gregor Fučka and won its first and only Korac Cup.
The final, played with the home and away formula, had a tie in Game 1 at the Forum in Assago (87-87) and the win for Alba over Olimpia Milano by 85-79 in Berlin.
Game 2 – the very final game – was a particularly important evening for our Teoman Alibegovic who with 34 points and 11 rebounds (39 rating) was the MVP of the final, proving to be fundamental for the conquest of the prestigious Korac Cup.
